Almendra was more expensive but I figured if the experience was better it’s worth every penny. I went for a Gel Mani/Regular Pedi combo. The place is nice, not over-the-top fancy with relaxing decor. The seats aren’t very comfortable for both mani or pedi but even that wouldn’t have been a deal breaker. Two GEL nails chipped within 24 HOURS of application. Most gels last 2/3 weeks before chipping. She did use a cool exfoliation tool on my feet and my toe polish is still intact. So while I may return for pedicures, I will save my money on the gels and get back in with my girl in Cobano. Appt date: February 28th – It’s now March 2nd and a third nail chipped this morning prompting this review rather than calling in to have them fixed. Bummed.
